Orbem is a specialist electrical company born from Instaspark, one of our other clients, to specifically serve the commercial sector.

With Orbem being a completely new company, they wanted to create a modern look and feel to the brand and showcase and explain their services and expertise with a clear and user-friendly website.

Having carried out numerous projects like this for the client’s other brands, we knew we could deliver a brand identity and website that encapsulates Orbem’s experience and values with messaging and journeys designed specifically for a commercial, B2B audience.

UX Research & Discovery

To kick the project off, our UX specialists carried out some all-important competitor research and benchmarking, using this data and the client’s brief to create bespoke website wireframes.

These unbranded wireframes visualise the planned user journey and how the website and its content will follow a logical flow.

With the primary goal of reaching and engaging with commercial B2B audiences, this stage was crucial for getting the structure and focus of the website spot on for the audience.

With the wireframes approved by the client, we then moved on to the branding side of the project to give us the materials and brand direction needed for the website design.

Creating Orbem's Branding

For Orbem’s branding, we aimed to create something that reflects their experience and values whilst still bearing similarities to their other brands, like Instaloft and Garageflex.

With that in mind, we created the complete brand designs and experience, including logos, colour schemes, business cards, newsletters, and full brand guidelines.

Our design specialists then presented the designs to the Orbem team, who loved the look and feel of both the visual aspects and messaging.

With the brand designs approved, we then moved on to creating their website.

Designing & Building the Website

Using the approved branding and wireframes, our web specialists created bespoke designs that reflect the Orbem brand and their positioning as a specialist in their field.

Following our meticulous web process, we took the website through multiple rounds of design, approval, reviews, and testing before the final launch date.

This included user testing in a staging environment, mobile optimisation checks, and pre-launch optimisation that our Technical SEO specialists carried out.

After the launch, we conducted some additional snag testing to identify any tweaks or fixes that needed to be made to the live website.

We also ran a web training session with the team at Orbem to show them around the back end of their website and how to make changes to their page content and settings.

The Result.

The client has been over the moon with their branding and the outcome of the new Orbem website, which they have said has “met their needs perfectly” and targeted the market exactly how they need it to.

Throughout the website development, our marketing specialists also helped ensure the website was PPC and SEO-ready to allow Orbem to hit the ground running with any paid advertising or organic optimisation work, which they are already seeing progress on.
