With a wealth of experience in the Commercial Mortgage industry and over 10 years experience in property finance, Managing Director Kim McGinley understandood the challenges a lender faces and saw a real opportunity to set up as a broker herself. Utilising her skills and attributes gained throughout her career, Kim really wants to make a difference to her clients. VIBE Finance are UK mortgage specialists in property based finance for all types of commercial and residential property investments.
Kim approached us to help her develop an online presence for her startup financial services company. She was looking for us to create a distinctive brand that would set her apart from other businesses in the sector. From our initial scoping sessions, we understood that the aim was to create a luxurious, modern and user friendly website and brand which would put across the values, personality and experience of the company.
What was also aparent, was the need to ensure that this brand portrayed Kim as a person, as her personal approach to her clients in ensuring they achieve the best possible outcomes is a core part of the ethos of VIBE.
After working closely with Kim to understand the more specific requirements of her brand, our design team undertook competitor and industry research to identify a unique position for VIBE within the industry. After identifying that brands in the financial industry tend to favour cooler and more professional colour pallets (blue, grey, green etc…), we chose to use two warm and striking colours to set the brand apart and to define the family-friendly approach of the business. With such a strong brand name, a typographic logo was a natural fit and after several design iterations, we settled on a heavy typeface with subtle design embellishments for the final logo and branding.
With the brand solidified, our web team were able to take this and develop a website around the values, themes and styles. Working closely with our Marketing and UX team, the website was designed to have a clear journey, guiding the user through the services offered and the values of the company. The website offers a unique journey for both consumers and intermediaries, ensuring that only the most relevant content and the information is given to the right visitor at the right time.
To ensure continuity of the brand, we set up the social media channels for the company and also designed offline marketing collateral for the brand in the form of business cards, letterheads and compliment slips.
