Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a Sales/New Business Development Manager to join our successful and established Sales team at Damteq.

As a Business Development Manager, you’ll build new opportunities using outbound and inbound sales techniques.

You will have a working technical knowledge about each area of the business to ensure you can accurately sell our business solutions to our prospects and clients.

This role will see you building and maintaining an ongoing sales pipeline to achieve revenue targets with new business. You will also open up-sell and cross-sell opportunities with existing clients.


  • research and identify new business opportunities – including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services – or new ways of reaching existing markets
  • seek out the appropriate contact in an organisation
  • generate leads and cold call prospective customers
  • meet with customers/clients face to face or over the phone
  • foster and develop relationships with customers/clients
  • understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these
  • think strategically – seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business
  • work strategically – carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes
  • draw up client contracts – depending on the size of the company, this task may be completed by someone else or agreements may not be as formal
  • have a good understanding of the business’s products or services and be able to advise others about them
  • discuss promotional strategy and activities with the marketing department
  • seek ways of improving the way the business operates

The successful candidate should:

  • Have previous experience in sales and account management
  • Have expertise in Pipeline management
  • The ability to work with increasing targets, both financial and metric related
  • Drive and Manage new business opportunities through sales processes
  • Create and deliver proposals and presentations
  • Have the highest quality communication skills
  • Previous experience in CRM systems
  • High attention to detail


  • Have experience in Digital Marketing and Website Development
  • Have used Pipedrive or equivalent Pipeline Management Software

Starting Salary of £24,000-£27,500 with
OTE of £31,000 – £36,000
