Sales/Account Executive

Let’s start with some of the basics. We’re Damteq® and over the last 12 years, we’ve grown from a tiny one-man band start-up, into a well respected, highly successful Specialist Web Design and Marketing Agency. We’ve got our head office in Fareham, Hampshire (this is where all the magic happens), and a smaller satellite office, for meetings in the big city of London.

Every single year we’ve doubled in size, and we’re looking for more awesome talent to join us. One thing you won’t find here is the usual boring job description of the endless ‘need to haves’. For us, it’s not about whether you got an A* in Science and Maths at school, or about what you’re having for dinner tonight (although if it’s Nando’s, we’re jealous), but more about the skills you can bring to Damteq, to help us and our clients grow.

So, this ‘role’… we need an Account Executive to work with our current Sales, Web & Marketing team. They are all bloody good at what they do, so you need to bring your A game. This is a role where you will be the first interaction with potential clients, so you’ll have to do things the ‘Damteq way’. You’ll also be building relationships with our current clients, so will need to have technical knowledge on all things Damteq, to help and support our customer projects. You’ll be expected to work with our Business Development Manager and Director to ensure a smooth cross-sell and upsell process, as well as assist in scoping and writing prospect and sales documentation. If you love to work in a fast paced environment, where you can add value every single day, this is the role for you. This is a sales and targeted role where you’ll be able to earn truly uncapped commission.

Ideally you’d be used to an Agency environment so you can have previous experience, but equally, if you’re fresh out of college or uni, but have that genuine flair and expertise then get in touch. We won’t laugh if you don’t know everything.

Some advice for you… a couple of things that do get our juices flowing. If you can pat your head and rub your tummy, that’s one step towards being able to multitask. That’s really important as we manage a huge diary, where you’ll be expected to multitask and time manage your own projects. Also, if you have designed and developed some awesome things in the past, show us. We want to be wowed.
